NNBY reaffirms and maintains First Nation culture, spiritual beliefs, language, traditional values, land and animals. NNBY works for present and future generations, looking seven generations into the future. While we focus on First Nations, NNBY is for all people. NNBY protects traditional knowledge, empowers First Nations people, supports self determination of First Nations, and facilitates the development of a respectful relationship between First Nations and other people. Culture also includes stories and customs, improving quality of life, and fosters the development of positive social and economic partnerships.

Northern Native Broadcasting, Yukon (NNBY) produces award winning radio and television programming.

CHON-FM, the radio component broadcasts 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

CHON PRODUCTIONS is the audio advertising arm of NNBY, scripting, voicing, mixing, and broadcasting radio advertisements in the languages of Yukon First Nations, English or French.

Nedaa - Your Eye on the Yukon is the flagship television program for NNBY. Broadcast on Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, check your local listings for the times. Nedaa is the premier current affairs documentary program examining and highlighting the life and lifestyles of Yukon First Nations.

Haa Shagoon is people recounting the history of the First Peoples of the Yukon and sharing traditional stories. The best of aboriginal television programming, featuring interviews in the languages of Yukon First Nations with English sub-titling. Haa Shagoon is broadcast on Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, check your local listing for the times.

Keyah Productions is the premier production house of NNBY. Producing television programming, feature length documentaries, public service announcements and television advertising. Keyah Productions has stock footage, cameras, operators, editors, editing facilities, and experienced producers.
